Modeling the car traffic signals: Car traffic signals show strong changes in the waveforms and spectral signatures with distance from the road, which can be utilized by a simple model to estimate the Q values of the sites.
Evaluating Diffuse Noise: We develop a methodology to estimate the diffusivity of the noise detected by examining the three requirements of fully diffuse wavefield.
Earthquake Source Properties: Estimating finite source properties (including directivities and stress drops) of small to moderate earthquake with improved empirical Green’s functions
Waveform Anatomy: Separating continuous seismic waveforms into earthquake signals, random noise likely associated with classical diffuse noise, not-random-noise associated with shaking produced by wind, air-traffic and other atmospheric & anthropogenic activities, and undetermined mixture of signals.
Dense Array Seismology: Earthquake detections, structure imaging, detection and modeling of atmospheric & anthropogenic activities.
